The XR600 OEM stock choke plate has a weak design. There is wide window inside that is prone to breakage. Once it breaks the engine sucks the broken parts. Normally it kills the valves and makes for an abrupt end to your ride and costly engine overhaul.
This CNC machined choke plate from aircraft grade billet aluminium will solve this problem. It comes with bolts and mounting instruction.
