if the OEM shock is worn out and you are looking for a new and modern high perfomance substitution i suggest the Wilbers Compettion rear shock!
The basic version of the Wilbers rear shocks: it makes no compromises in terms of response and durability. Radial pistons, wet-running guides, Teflon-guided self-aligning bearings and other features redefine the standard for a basic shock. Of course, the spring base is adhustable and the rebound can be adjusted over an extremely wide range with an open bleed system with 22 clicks. But It doesn't offer the external reservoir and an adjustable compression stage. The spring base can be steplessly pre-tensioned using a hook wrench.
