After many years of use, damage and wear often occur on the cylinder head, especially on the valves and valve seats. Then it's time for a cylinder head revision.
This job includes:
The cylinder head corresponds to the new condition by processing the valve seats, valves, sealing surfaces, etc., all components subject to wear are reworked. The inlet and outlet ports are carefully machined. Manufacturing tolerances are eliminated and the channels are partially optimized in terms of flow technology. The scope of this work goes far beyond the popular "polishing" of the canals. This work is particularly effective on the engines of the 1980s and 1990s (with their crude manufacturing processes compared to today) and provides an increase in power at the whole rev range and a reduction in thermal stress on the exhaust side of the engine.
Cylinder head including intake manifold must be sent in.
Price for this service is 485€.
(If further damage is detected during the inspection of the cylinder head, it will be communicated transparently and further action will be discussed together.)

- Disassembly and rough cleaning of the provided cylinder head
- Glass bead blasting to remove the oil-carbon-pollutions
- ultrasonic cleaning
- disassembly and careful checking of all components
- Complex port optimization to improve the flow characteristics (incl. evaluation at the flow bench)
- mechanical milling of the valve seats
- Glass bead blasting and mechanical grinding of the valves
- milling of the sealing surfaces
- Assembly of all components
- Checking the tightness of the valve seats with vacuum
